IT IS REALLY ESSENTIAL TO BUILD UP PROVISIONS FOR SAVING THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM FROM SINGLE-HAND CONTROL OF RETURNING OFFICERS AND FOR PROVISION OF HEAVY PUNISHMENT AGAINST HIM/HER INCLUDING DISMISSAL FROM SERVICE WHEN HIS/HER GUILTS, LIKE IN ATHGARH, IN CONSPIRATORIAL OR WHIMSICAL REJECTION OF A CANDIDATES NOMINATION PAPERS ARE ESTABLISHED. OTHERWISE IT WILL BE THE PEOPLE WHO ONLY WILL SUFFER AS THREATENED BE THE DEMOCRACY.

Here the Lawyers took the law into their hands first. To whatever extent be the collector opposing the lawyers, but I don’t know under which law it is allowed to manhandle a collector, that again a lady. N then what was the need for chasing her, pelting stones n ransacking her residence.

The lawyers are the powerful lot, they are now crying law to take its own course, they should have resorted to law against the collector. Whether we accept it or not the rowdy behaviour of the lawyers across the state is known to all. N again it’s highly unfortunate that without looking into the merits of the incident the HC Bar Association has also joined the circus.

It’s high time the civil society must ask the lawyers to behave that behaving like Ostrich. N I don’t find anything wrong in calling lawyers ‘anti socials’ in this particular incident.
