It is natural that work of Sri Jaydev will contain sanskrit words. Oriya is the closest to sanskrit in word-structure, pronunciation and sentecnce structure. I have listed about 40 vedic words relating to Indra and ocean-trade which are used only in Oriya as Indra was Lokapal of east direction. Moreover, Jaydev had works on Algebra (complementary to Bhasvati of Shatananda) which has been quoted by at least 3 authors of Kerala. He has written a commentary on Nirukta which is technical defintion of Vedic words. Only in technical sense, he could write ‘megha’ as ‘medura’. Megha has water, not fat, it has technical meaning in vedas only. In Dashavatara stotra also, he has referred to 3 earths (Ati-vipulatara is the third earth = galaxy), and fomative cloud for ceation of earth called ‘Varaha’-1000 times bigger than earth planet.
