A recent opinion expressed here stressed that Hindi Seva Samman comprising fifteen national awards for popularization of Hindi in India and abroad should expand to project a national representation.
Orientation training of trained Hindi teachers of Dhenkanal Educational Circle, commenced on January 08, had its valedictory function on Jan 25 at the Bhubaneswar Centre of Central Institute of Hindi.
Dr. Om Bir Singh Sikarwar, Zonal Director of N.C.E.T. and Mr. Subhas Chandra Pattanayak, Representative-in-Chief of orissamatters.com addressed the function as Chief Guest and Chief speaker respectively.
Dr. Sikarwar emphasized that the teachers should pay principled attention to all round growth of the pupils personality. Citing inspiring episodes from Indias vast history of management of knowledge where quests of pupils were being satisfied by teachers in such fulsome way that learning was becoming alluring and wisdom was becoming tradition, Dr. Sikarwar stressed on teacher-pupil relationship becoming more collaborative than formal.
Mr.Pattanayak stressed on equalization of pay package of Hindi teachers with that of other trained graduate teachers and expansion of Hindi Seva Samman comprising the names of more numbers of acclaimed contributors to Hindi so that the whole of India could get a balanced representation in its framework. This can act as better incentive to work for popularization of the national language, he said.
Both the guests distributed prizes to participants of the orientation camp for their marked excellence in different spheres of academic activities.
