The entire nation of Indians is ashamed of the corruption unveiled in matter of what the union law minister and his family has done with the monetary assistance obtained from the central government in the guise of giving aids to the physically handicapped. Is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh not ashamed of it?
What a government he is heading?
When his law minister is allegedly involved with a scam that affects the physically disabled people of his own province, another of his ministers, Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma is so very sure of his colleagues’ prowesses to swindle Himalayan amounts of money that he asks: why should Khurshid prey upon a mere Rs.71 lakhs!
How much money is swindled by Khurshid and his wife in the name of the physically handicapped and whether or not the couple is guilty of forgery as alleged, may attract incisive investigation if the writ case filed today in the Lucknow bench of the Allahbad High court is properly pursued.
But the matter that does not wait for any investigation is that, Salman Khurshid, who is the union law minister, is admittedly involved with a private organization that gets money from the union government by lobbying for its projects.
If this is ethically correct to the Prime Minister, the country is certainly in the hands of the buccaneers.
