Bhubaneswar is agog to welcome May 5. Gandharva Mahavidyalaya would celebrate its Jayanti Utsav 2014, which the eminent institute of culture – Samaveda – is organizing at Idcol Auditorium, Bhubaneswar.
Young, yet shining stars in Orissa’s sky of music and dance would grace the occasion with stage performances. When Pravat Kumar Swain would present Odissi Dance, Laxmi Prasad Pattanayak’s Violin would perform ‘instrumental duet’ with Nigamanand Sahu’s Flute. Pravat Kumar is the disciple of Ms. Aruna Mohanty.
Besides them, the charming performer Kulamani Sahoo would present Tabla solo when Biswaranjan Mishra would contribute accompaniment to instrumental duet. Both of them are disciples of Prof. Harmohan Khuntia.
Other performers would be the Hindustani Vocal Group and students of Samaveda.
