Your Representative-in-Chief Subhas Chandra Pattanayak has been awarded the epithet KULA TILAK, meaning ‘Best of the Clan’ by Culture-centric ‘Sampark Media’ in a function held at Jaya Dev Bhavan (formerly the State Information Centre) on Sunday, January 07, 2018, for his excellence in journalism as well as his contribution to the cause of Oriya Language. Pattanayak is the Founder Chairman of Bhasha Andolan, Orissa’s unique movement for governance of the State in the mother tongue of the people. Andolan President Pradyumna Satpathy was in the Chair.
Sampark Media expressed its total support to Bhasha Andolan and its Editor-cum-Chief Executive Santosh Kumar Sahu honored the Andolan by inviting its convener Pabitra Maharatha and all its eminent leaders to witness the event. Legendary Freedom Fighter and former Minister Dola Govind Pradhan, who is a prominent participant in the silent yet spectacular ‘Black Flag Campaign’ of Bhasha Andolan, was the Chief Guest.
On receiving the Epithet, Sri Pattanayak thanked Sampark Media for having, thereby, honored unperturbed journalism and all of the Black-Flag campaigners that have been leading the unique movement for unavoidability of governance of Orissa in Oriya.
